This project is worked in DMC stranded cotton threads but was inspired by the glossier version of Brazilian Embroidery. Intertwining Bullion Knots and Buttonhole Bars, Single and Double Cast On stitches, French Knots and Palestrina stitch all create a gorgeous crunchy effect to the large heart, while the centre heart is filled with truly epic Turkey Knot Work! Stem stitch, Rosette stitch and Lazy Daisy stitch add the little touches that round out this wonderful piece.
