Originally designed as a way of using up a too-large stash of certain Goldwork threads, it’s now one of my favourite little pieces on display in my home. Over 5 sessions you will learn how to couch various gold threads including Japanese Passing, Rococo, 1½ Twist and Pearl Purl, as well as how to plunge and tie back these threads. You’ll also explore Vermicelli Couching and Strapping with a de-constructed 1½ Twist thread and add final decorative touches with simple machine thread.
